The WWII U.S. P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback Plane is recreated in amazing detail and is true to the classic vehicle in almost every aspect.The P-47D was respectfully known as the "JUG", short for juggernaut, with the apt meaning of a terrible, irresistable force. The P-47D was introduced in May 1941 with it's primary role as a high altitude interceptor. It was the heaviest single engine fighter of it's day. With a ceiling of 42,000 feet and maximum speed of 460 mph the "JUG" became a multi-purpose fighter. It's early role as a bomber escort quickly evolved into the best ground support aircraft during WWII.Features working landing gear, opening cockpit and comes with a pilot figure.
