The Dell Internal CD-RW Drive is an ideal way to create customized CDs that can hold up to 700 MB of data. It reads CDs with 48X speed, writes to CD-R at 48X speed and rewrites CD+RW at 32X speed. Incorporating buffer underrun protection, the drive facilitates smooth burning and lowers chances of failed burns. The drive has a buffer memory of 2 MB and features an IDE/ATAPI interface for easy installation. It includes Roxio Easy CD Creator software that lets you create custom data CDs for backup or transfer purposes. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems to ensure it will work with your computer and is compatible with Dell OptiPlex GX60 / GX260 / GX270D/T Desktop Systems.
